Anna is a senior at the University of Texas where she studies broadcast journalism. Entering college, her dream was to become the next Barbara Walters. Anna has worked for journalism outlets such as the Daily Texan, Good Morning Texas and Texas Newswatch; as well as intern positions with Wines.com and David Dewhurst's campaign for U.S. Senate.
As a senior, she decided to put her journalism career on hold for a while to deepen her faith. After graduation she will be working as a FOCUS missionary, which is an Catholic organization that outreaches to college students. Religion and culture are her favorite topics to cover, and she plans to keep a detailed blog about her experiences as a missionary.
Anna is also interested in fitness, especially running and yoga. Her more artsy interests include acting, singing, and playing the cello. No matter where life takes her, she always plans to use the writing and interviewing talents her journalism degree has helped develop.
